Technical Officers

Our Technical Officers

Technical Officers play a multifaceted role in engineering projects, bridging the gap between vision and reality. They are skilled professionals responsible for the meticulous fabrication and installation works required by engineers, offering a blend of expertise in both metal fabrication and plumbing.

With backgrounds in these specialized fields, Technical Officers like Paul, a professional plumber, and Ronald, a proficient metal fabricator, bring a wealth of knowledge and craftsmanship to their roles. They not only have the capability to translate complex engineering designs into tangible products but also ensure that quality standards are met with precision.

Additionally, Technical Officers may assume leadership roles as foremen in projects involving more than four artisans or local community helpers. Their management capabilities, combined with technical know-how, allow them to guide teams to successful project completion, ensuring timelines, quality, and safety standards are met. They are not just the hands-on experts but also the orchestrators of innovation and efficiency within the project.

Administration and Accounts

The Administration and Accounts Office of ATCDI diligently oversees all financial transactions within the department. Our responsibilities encompass raising payments, processing them, and issuing checks, ensuring meticulous record-keeping for both internal and external audits. Furthermore, we continually update financial activities such as the posting of sales records, settling invoices, and recording various journal entries in MYOB.

Our commitment to accuracy is evident as department bank statements are consistently reconciled by the 10th of every month. These, along with comprehensive financial reports like the trial balance, profit and loss statement, project WIP reporting, inventory reports, and monthly depreciation and asset schedules, are promptly shared with the Deputy Bursar for her review.

Beyond finance, we are the backbone of administrative functions. We maintain essential employee records, encompassing leave details, departmental pay summaries, daily timesheets, and monthly attendance reports. Plus, we ensure a steady supply of office essentials to ensure smooth departmental operations.
